Former Spurs striker Mido has offered his own perspective on the club's transfer dealings, claiming he previously urged chairman Daniel Levy to pursue both Mohamed Salah and Marmoush. Speaking to OnTime Sports, Mido revealed he had texted Levy recommending Salah's signing while the forward was at Basel, warning he would become one of the world's elite players. Levy apparently responded positively but the deal never materialised.
