The Argentine defender showed precisely why Madrid fancy him during Spurs' 2-0 Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, setting up Randal Kolo Muani's opening goal with an assist that caught the eye of observers. Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock singled out Romero's contribution on Match of the Day, praising his set-piece threat and intelligent positioning.
