Spurs Push Forward on Savinho as De Zerbi Eyes Manchester City Raid

Tottenham's transfer summer is gathering serious momentum. Having wrapped up the arrival of Sandro Tonali—who will complete his medical on Thursday as the club's sixth major signing—the north London outfit are now turning their attention to reinforcing their attacking options.

Roberto De Zerbi's squad have already bolstered their defence and midfield considerably this window. The free transfer captures of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and Martin Dubravka have been supplemented by the arrivals of Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton and West Ham's Mateus Fernandes, who joined for a reported £85m.

Now Spurs are eyeing a significant move for Manchester City's Savinho. The Brazilian winger, valued at around £45m-£50m, has already agreed personal terms with Tottenham on a five-year contract through June 2031 worth approximately £6m annually with bonuses included.

City are willing to sanction the departure of the 22-year-old this time around, a marked change from last summer when the Premier League champions blocked a similar move. Club sources suggest negotiations with Manchester City could progress rapidly over the coming days, with Tottenham confident of reaching a full agreement.

Beyond Savinho, De Zerbi's recruitment team are also monitoring AC Milan's Rafael Leao and have surprisingly set their sights on another raid at the Hammers. Crysencio Summerville, the Netherlands international, is emerging as a potential target, with reports suggesting serious discussions could commence once West Ham have had time to adjust to losing Fernandes.
