Kolo Muani Signals Intent to Quit Spurs for Juventus Return

Randal Kolo Muani appears to have already made his summer plans clear—and they don't involve Tottenham. The French striker has let Juventus know, both directly and through conversations with players he worked with during his loan spell there, that he's eager to return to Turin.

The writing's been on the wall for a while now. Muani arrived at Spurs on loan from Paris Saint-Germain with no purchase option attached, and with just a single Premier League goal across 23 appearances this season, there's precious little incentive for Tottenham to pursue a permanent deal. The striker himself, it seems, has other ideas.

His previous stint with Juventus tells the real story. During the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, Muani found the net eight times in Serie A and added a couple more goals plus an assist during their Club World Cup campaign. That kind of form clearly left an impression—on him, the club, and his teammates.

Financial hurdles had previously complicated any reunion, but the landscape has shifted. The costs involved are now substantially lower than they were before, potentially clearing a path for Juventus to make the deal happen. Paris Saint-Germain aren't expected to throw up obstacles either.

However, the picture at Juventus remains complicated. Manager Luciano Spalletti is content with Dusan Vlahovic's contributions, meaning the Serbian striker will likely remain central to their plans. The Italian side nonetheless believe they'll need two attacking reinforcements to mount a serious challenge.

Muani sits atop their wishlist, but Juventus are also harbouring grander ambitions. They've been gathering intelligence on Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona, though that particular move hinges on Champions League qualification. Currently fifth in Serie A, one point adrift of fourth-placed Como with seven matches remaining, Juventus face a race against the clock to secure European football and make such a marquee signing feasible.
