Tonali's Agent Signals Summer Exit Possibility as Arsenal, Chelsea and City Circle Newcastle Star

Sandro Tonali's future at Newcastle United remains a hot topic, with his representative Beppe Riso now suggesting that summer could bring significant developments in the Italian midfielder's next chapter.

The 25-year-old has become a focal point of transfer speculation, particularly after Riso's involvement in deadline-day discussions that saw him approach Arsenal on Tonali's behalf. The agent subsequently clarified that Newcastle's unwillingness to negotiate in January, combined with the player's ongoing Champions League campaign, made any winter move impossible. "Newcastle won't let Sandro leave in January, and we never talked to Arsenal about this," Riso stated at the time, adding that the club's stance would be reassessed come March.

Now, with the summer window looming, Riso has opened the door wider. Speaking to Tuttosport, he confirmed that serious negotiations will take place once the season concludes. "Transfer discussions will take place later," he explained. "We'll see how the season ends and then we'll decide what to do."

The midfielder's attachment to Newcastle remains evident, particularly given their pursuit of Champions League qualification. "Newcastle are having a hard time letting go of Sandro, and he wants to lead the club to the Champions League," Riso noted. Yet he was careful not to rule anything out, emphasising that positions can shift: "What we're saying today won't apply tomorrow."

Tonali has attracted considerable attention from England's elite. Arsenal appear to hold a preferred position in the player's thinking, according to reports, with Chelsea and Manchester City also monitoring the situation. Serie A outfit Juventus have likewise registered their interest in the midfielder.

Should Newcastle fail to secure Champions League football, the prospect of a departure becomes considerably more likely. Journalist Pete O'Rourke suggested that multiple clubs stand ready to pounce: "There'll be lots more speculation in regards to Sandro Tonali. That news on Deadline Day was probably just the start of it. A bit like Newcastle had last year with Alexander Isak, there could be another transfer saga involving Sandro Tonali this summer. Especially if Newcastle miss out on qualifying for the Champions League, because I'm sure the player himself wants to continue playing at the highest level, and there will be clubs ready and waiting to offer him that if he does want out."

For now, Tonali remains focused on Tyneside, but all parties appear to be preparing for a potentially significant summer of movement.
