Spurs Step Up Summer Business as Savinho Deal Progresses and Dominguez Target Emerges

Tottenham's summer recruitment drive is gathering momentum with fresh developments across multiple fronts in the transfer market.
Having scraped survival with a 1-0 victory over Everton on the final day—finishing two points clear of relegated West Ham—Spurs are determined to avoid another season-long battle. The North London outfit have already wrapped up free transfers for Bournemouth's Marco Senesi and Liverpool's Andy Robertson, and now a third addition appears imminent.
Fabrizio Romano reports that talks between Tottenham and Manchester City over Brazilian winger Savinho are advancing encouragingly. The 24-year-old is understood to be open to an Etihad exit, with City willing to facilitate his departure should an acceptable proposal materialise. Romano confirmed the momentum, stating that negotiations are 'progressing well' and that the deal is very much active.
Dominguez on the Radar
Beyond Savinho, Tottenham are casting their net wider in defence. Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has revealed that the Spurs hierarchy are targeting a pair of centre-backs this summer, with their sights now firmly set on Dinamo Zagreb's Sergi Dominguez.
The Croatian outfit's defender has emerged as a priority target, with Tottenham attempting to hijack a move that Serie A's Lazio appeared to be orchestrating. Lazio had reportedly tabled an offer in the €4-5 million bracket, yet Pedulla suggests the actual valuation sits considerably higher—roughly three times that figure before factoring in potential bonuses or sell-on clauses.
Dominguez, who progressed through Barcelona's academy system, is noted for his pace and defensive acumen despite his substantial frame. Tottenham have already initiated direct contact with the Zagreb hierarchy as they look to press home their advantage.
Osimhen Talk Continues
Meanwhile, the Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen continues to feature in transfer speculation surrounding Spurs. TalkSPORT contributor Sonny Snelling has made a case for the Nigerian international's arrival, pointing to the striker's 27-year-old prime and his prolific output in the Turkish Super Lig as reason enough to make the move.
Snelling highlighted how rival clubs strengthened their attacking departments last season—citing Benjamin Sesko, Victor Gyokeres, and Joao Pedro as examples—before suggesting Osimhen represents an elite-level target capable of elevating Tottenham's fortunes in the Premier League.
