While Diomande previously indicated his childhood admiration for PSG—revealing the French club represents his "dream destination"—the momentum appears to have shifted decisively toward Anfield.

Romano emphasised that Liverpool are "really pushing" and "really insisting" to make the deal happen, with the prospect of Diomande ranked as a top priority for the club. The Reds have reportedly tabled substantial financial inducements to tempt the young winger into a switch to England.
