The Magpies, it seems, are not budging. Both Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs have reported that Newcastle intend to hold out for their full £100m asking price, leaving Tottenham with a decision to make. Jacobs suggested that Spurs "remain optimistic" and that "talks between clubs continue," but the ball is firmly in Tottenham's court to sweeten the pot further.
