Salah Set for Swansong in Liverpool's New 2026/27 Adidas Kit

Mo Salah's Liverpool swansong could yet come dressed in the club's freshly-minted 2026/27 strip, even as the Egyptian prepares his exit after agreeing to walk away from Anfield a year ahead of schedule.
Leaked kit designs suggest the Reds will debut their latest Adidas creation in May, potentially wheeling it out for the final day showdown at Anfield against Brentford. That match promises to be a poignant occasion, marking the last outing for both Salah and Andy Robertson in the famous red before both depart on free transfers.
Salah's imminent departure comes after he opted to terminate his £400k-per-week contract prematurely. The forward recently found the back of the net against Everton in a 2-1 victory at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but will bid farewell to the club this summer.
Under Liverpool's bumper £60m-per-year Adidas deal, the club now sits alongside Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the German brand's elite European tier. This new kit represents the second home shirt to emerge from that long-term partnership.
The new home kit draws inspiration from the storied 1991 campaign, harking back to the celebrated 'speckled' Candy shirt with its distinctive white triangular motifs. The modernised version retains that aesthetic while incorporating Adidas's signature three-stripe branding and Standard Chartered's continuing presence as front-of-shirt sponsor.
Liverpool's away strip for the upcoming season opts for white as its primary colour, adorned with a badge-style graphic rendered in light grey and featuring the Adidas Trefoil emblem. A third kit in black with maroon patterning rounds out the collection, complete with silver detailing for badge and sponsor logos.
The kit rollout marks a significant change of pace compared to last season, when Liverpool supporters had to wait until August to glimpse their new threads due to the transition from Nike. This time around, fans will get an early look before the campaign concludes.
Pricing hasn't been officially confirmed by Adidas, though adult home kits are expected to retail around £85, with the authentic player versions commanding over £100. The Adidas Elite plan also opens the door to long-sleeve authentic shirts—a luxury typically reserved for just a handful of clubs.
Beyond the playing kit, the partnership promises an expanded range including tracksuits, jackets, t-shirts and retro-inspired leisure wear, giving supporters plenty of options to stock their wardrobes with Merseyside red.
