Wilcox in Personal Push for West Ham's Fernandes as United Accelerate Midfield Overhaul

Manchester United's recruitment chief Jason Wilcox has thrown his weight behind a move for West Ham's Mateus Fernandes, with the club's hierarchy now stepping up their pursuit of the Portuguese midfielder ahead of the 2026 summer window.

West Ham are demanding £80million for their midfielder despite their drop to the Championship, though United are exploring options in this price bracket as they reshape their engine room.
