Marcus Rashford's season-long stint at Barcelona looks set to conclude, with the Catalan side reshaping their attacking options and effectively closing the door on the Manchester United-owned winger's future at Camp Nou.

The Spanish champions are moving swiftly in the market, securing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United at left-wing and simultaneously negotiating with Atlético Madrid regarding Julian Álvarez. Further complicating matters for Rashford is Barcelona's pursuit of Bernardo Silva, the Manchester City midfielder departing on a free transfer this summer.

According to reports, Barcelona view Silva as an available option and are considering the move. Should the Portuguese midfielder arrive, combined with Gordon's confirmed signing, there would be insufficient squad space for Rashford to remain in Catalonia beyond his loan arrangement.

The 28-year-old England international is equally unwanted at Old Trafford, with Manchester United actively seeking a permanent departure for their academy product.
