Agbonlahor Tipping 1-1 Stalemate as City Host Arsenal in Title Showdown

Despite backing City as favourites—particularly given their home advantage and current momentum—Agbonlahor expects Mikel Arteta to deploy a rigid defensive shape that could stifle the contest entirely. He anticipates seeing Mosquera at right-back, Hincapie on the left, with Gabriel and Saliba in the middle, while Zubimendi and Rice anchor midfield. That setup, he suggests, will leave Arsenal's attacking threat blunted.

"I think this could be one of those games where we are so excited for, but it doesn't live up to expectations," Agbonlahor said.

When exploring why Arsenal face heavier scrutiny than City heading into Sunday, he pointed to recent wobbles. A Carabao Cup defeat to City, unconvincing showings against Southampton and Bournemouth—when they could have extended their lead to 12 points—and a below-par attacking display against Sporting Lisbon all weigh against them.
