Fernandes Struggles with Amorim Exit as Al-Hilal Tempt with £100m Offer

Bruno Fernandes is wrestling with the fallout from Ruben Amorim's departure at Old Trafford, with the Manchester United captain's mindset becoming a growing concern within the dressing room.

The manager's dismissal has left its mark on the United squad. For Fernandes, the 31-year-old Portuguese international, the exit represents more than a tactical reshuffle—it's been described as a "difficult blow to accept," with the departure felt as "traumatic" by some players. Enter Al-Hilal. The Saudi Pro League outfit is preparing fresh advances for the United skipper, with a reported £100m package on the table—worth $135m in total. The terms would see Fernandes pocket £600,000 per week ($810K).

Wilcox holds significant sway over the decision-making process at board level. While Fernandes is understood to be relatively unfazed about how matters unfold, his preference remains a summer departure rather than a mid-season scramble.
