United Land Colombian Teenager as INEOS Blueprint Takes Shape with Felix in Sights

Manchester United are wasting no time reshaping their squad this summer, having already secured their opening piece of the jigsaw with a preliminary agreement in place for Colombian youngster Cristian Orozco.

The 17-year-old from Fortaleza CEIF will complete his move to Old Trafford once he reaches his 18th birthday, having already secured terms with the club. United have struck an initial deal with his Colombian club, though the formalities cannot be completed until Orozco comes of age.

The Red Devils' ambitions extend far beyond the South American teenager, however. Four additional signings are reportedly lined up as INEOS chart a course for the club's future, with midfield identified as the primary area for reinforcement.

Casemiro has already confirmed his departure on a free transfer at season's end, while Manuel Ugarte is expected to follow suit should an acceptable offer arrive. This opens the door for United to bring in at least two new midfielders, with a left-back and left-winger also high on the recruitment wishlist.

The Portuguese attacker João Félix has emerged as a leading target, with United seemingly ahead of the chasing pack. The former Chelsea man, currently at Al Nassr, represents the club's most ambitious move in the attacking department, and United are prepared to table a substantial offer to both the Saudi club and the player himself.

Félix is understood to view the prospect of Old Trafford as a genuine opportunity to resurrect his European career, with the allure of the historic English institution apparently holding considerable appeal. However, while United appear to hold the advantage in negotiations, they will face competition from other interested parties before a deal is finalised.
