January's transfer carousel proved particularly frenetic, with the window stretching from 1 January to 7pm on 2 February 2026. Three clubs in particular—Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace—made waves, whilst the movement of loanees returning from temporary stints elsewhere added considerable complexity to the window's choreography.

Arsenal

The Gunners bolstered their ranks by recalling Oleksandr Zinchenko from Nottingham Forest on loan, whilst also acquiring Evan Mooney from Scottish outfit St Mirren for an undisclosed fee. Outgoings saw Harrison Dudziak depart on loan to Braintree, Ethan Nwaneri head to Marseille on loan, and Zinchenko subsequently move permanently to Ajax for £1.2m.
