Rosenior's profile as a leading candidate makes considerable sense on paper. The 41-year-old has impressed at Strasbourg, and crucially, both clubs fall under the same BlueCo ownership structure. According to reports from Football Transfers, the Englishman has been "lined up" to assume control until the campaign concludes, though the outlet notes this temporary arrangement from one BlueCo outfit to another represents a somewhat unconventional move—albeit one consistent with the ownership's past willingness to make eyebrow-raising decisions. However, Chelsea's appeal to potential managers has proven limited. Journalist Simon Phillips indicated that the club have already received rejection letters from multiple candidates, with one observer noting the chaotic spectacle of recent weeks has been enough to deter interested parties. Phillips himself expressed concern about the calibre of candidate likely to emerge from the remaining pool, stating: "They'd have been just like us this last week or so watching this absolute shambles unravel in the media and thinking they want nothing to do with it.
