"Club-to-club discussions have not even started," Romano stated bluntly. "So forget about any fast-track deal because negotiations between the clubs have not begun."

Fernandez's agent, Javier Pastore, has previously hinted at his client's willingness to explore fresh horizons and referenced Madrid's allure, yet the reality suggests the Spanish capital remains a distant prospect at best.
