Arsenal Slap €95m Price Tag on Odegaard as Juventus Circle; Gunners Eye €300m Summer Haul from Five Players

Arsenal are preparing for a significant summer clear-out, having established a €95 million valuation for captain Martin Odegaard amid interest from Italian champions Juventus.

The Gunners find themselves in an enviable league position after a 1-0 victory over Brighton extended their advantage at the summit to seven points. Manchester City, currently second and holding a game in hand, suffered a midweek stalemate against Nottingham Forest and face a trip to the Etihad in April against their north London rivals—a fixture that could prove decisive in the title race.

After two decades without a Premier League crown and three consecutive runner-up finishes, Arsenal have positioned themselves as genuine contenders to end the drought. The club's summer spending spree of over £250m has bolstered their squad depth across all departments under Mikel Arteta's stewardship.

However, those significant outlays mean the finances must be addressed when the transfer window reopens. Odegaard has emerged as a prime candidate for departure, alongside fellow attacker Gabriel Martinelli, according to reports suggesting Arsenal must generate funds through player sales.

The Norwegian joined from Real Madrid for approximately £34m but has endured a frustrating campaign hampered by injury, managing just one goal and five assists across 27 competitive appearances. Despite this, Juventus view him as the ideal orchestrator for their midfield renaissance, with the Turin club seeking to elevate their quality in that area.

Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti is particularly attracted to Odegaard's capacity to pierce defensive lines and deliver incisive final passes under pressure—qualities Arteta nonetheless considers irreplaceable to his project.

Arsenal, however, are holding firm on their valuation. The club will not entertain bids below €95 million for one of Europe's premier playmakers. Odegaard himself remains committed to his Premier League journey and would only contemplate a move should the destination offer genuine prospects of competing for every available honour.

Beyond Odegaard, Spanish reports indicate Arsenal are targeting €300 million (£260m) from five departures this summer. Alongside the captain and Martinelli, defender Ben White and youngsters Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been identified as potential exits as the north London outfit seeks to recalibrate their spending following last summer's investment.
