Arsenal slap €100m price tag on Odegaard as Man Utd circle

Manchester United have been handed Arsenal's valuation for Martin Odegaard, with the Gunners also attaching a substantial fee to Gabriel Martinelli as both players attract interest from across Europe.

Despite wearing the captain's armband at the Emirates, Odegaard's standing within the squad has come under scrutiny this campaign. The 27-year-old Norwegian has managed just 13 Premier League starts and a mere two outings in the Champions League, hampered by shoulder, knee and muscle issues that have disrupted his season. Even when available for selection, Mikel Arteta has not always favoured him in the starting XI.

Speculation surrounding Odegaard's future intensified in February 2026 when reports suggested the former Real Madrid playmaker had tasked his representatives with exploring talks at Old Trafford. Those claims were subsequently downplayed by sources close to the player, with Arsenal themselves keen to retain their creative hub.

Yet the rumour mill continues to churn. According to fresh reporting, the Gunners will entertain offers of €100m for Odegaard, though the midfielder is not actively pushing for an exit. Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the playmaker, who remains contracted to Arsenal until summer 2028.

Over his time with the north London outfit, Odegaard has accumulated 225 appearances across all competitions, notching 42 goals and 45 assists.

Martinelli faces a similar predicament. The Brazilian winger's influence has similarly waned, restricted to nine Premier League starts and four Champions League appearances this term. Unlike Odegaard, however, Martinelli is considered more likely to depart this summer.

Arsenal's asking price for the 24-year-old stands at €65m, with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid among the suitors. Martinelli's contract runs through summer 2027, with a one-year extension option available.

The winger's Arsenal record reads 62 goals and 33 assists from 263 games in all competitions.
