According to Spanish reports, the proposal from North London represents a figure approaching €50m, a sum that would represent a tenfold return on the relatively modest outlay Leverkusen made when acquiring him mere months earlier.

Arsenal's recruitment team have identified the teenager as a priority target, with his direct, energetic approach viewed as a natural fit for the intensity of English football. His profile—young, promising, dynamic—aligns with the club's stated transfer strategy.

Meanwhile, Gary Lineker has weighed in on Arsenal's forward options, suggesting on the Rest Is Football podcast that Kai Havertz might warrant more minutes in the central role. "I look at Arsenal and it's hard to be too critical because they've done so well this season," Lineker reflected. "But I still think they're a bit short up top. I prefer Kai Havertz up there, personally, if he can get and stay fit. He's more of a false nine but he gives them a bit more I think."
