Real Madrid Slam Door on Arsenal and Chelsea Over Endrick Summer Move

Arsenal's hopes of landing Endrick have been extinguished before the window even opened. Real Madrid have made abundantly clear to both the Gunners and Chelsea that the Brazilian striker remains untouchable, with no loan departure or permanent sale on the cards for the coming transfer window.

The Spanish and European powerhouses have informed both English clubs in recent weeks that Endrick is firmly woven into their first-team fabric going forward. The teenager himself is keen to return from his current spell at Lyon and fight for his place at the Bernabéu, rather than seek pastures new.

Arsenal's search for attacking reinforcement remains ongoing. With the futures of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz uncertain, Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta have been casting their net wide. Viktor Gyokeres arrived from Sporting CP last summer, yet the hunt for additional firepower continues. Atlético Madrid's Julian Álvarez has already been sounded out, with preliminary discussions held over a potential deal for the former Manchester City man.

But Endrick, it seems, was never realistic. The 19-year-old Brazilian has flourished during his loan spell in France, netting seven times and providing seven assists across 18 appearances for Lyon. His form has caught admirers' attention, yet Madrid view him as a cornerstone of their future rather than a commodity to be shifted on.

Real Madrid snapped up Endrick from Palmeiras in December 2022 for €70million, making him the most expensive Brazilian ever to join the club at just 16 years old. FIFA dubbed him "a phenomenon" at the time, noting that Xavi had harboured designs on bringing him to Barcelona when managing the Catalan side. The teenager eventually linked up with Madrid in July 2024 once he came of age.

He endured a frustrating early campaign under Xabi Alonso, with limited opportunities forcing a temporary move to Lyon in January. Current Madrid manager Álvaro Arbeloa has made his position clear: Endrick is going nowhere, and his future lies in the Spanish capital.
