According to Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta has undertaken a scouting mission to Istanbul, where he watched the heated Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby whilst gathering intelligence on three Galatasaray players. The primary focus appears to be Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, whose asking price stands at €75m (£65m).

Berta conducted direct discussions with Galatasaray's management regarding Osimhen's potential availability, establishing firsthand knowledge of the Nigerian forward's situation as Arsenal weigh up a summer approach.

The other two players on Berta's radar are midfielders Barış Alper Yilmaz and Ugurcan Çakir – both integral to Okan Buruk's Galatasaray outfit and regulars for Turkey's national team under Vincenzo Montella. Such a move would represent a notable shift from last summer's business, when Arsenal completed the €75m acquisition of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon following protracted negotiations.

Kvaratskhelia staying put at PSG, Romano confirms

Speculation linking Arsenal with Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia can be firmly shelved, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer insider has reiterated his previous assessment, dismissing recent Premier League rumours as wide of the mark.

Romano explained that Kvaratskhelia, who arrived at PSG just over a year ago in January 2025, remains fully committed to his French club. The Georgia international has expressed contentment at the Parc des Princes and is determined to compete for major silverware in Paris.
