Both have found themselves starved of Premier League action this season—Norgaard, signed from Brentford for £10m last summer, hasn't started a single top-flight match with Martin Zubimendi ahead of him in the pecking order, while White, who arrived for £50m, is also hunting for more consistent first-team opportunities.

It's hardly surprising. But if Norgaard and White are heading for the exit, who's coming in?

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has provided clarity on Arsenal's summer agenda, and it's refreshingly straightforward. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano guaranteed that midfield recruitment will be high on the agenda. "One thing I can guarantee is that Arsenal will work on midfielders in the summer," he explained, noting that the club has already identified targets following Mikel Merino's injury setback in January.

What might surprise some observers, however, is Romano's revelation that a younger right-back could be another priority. "It could be to add a younger right-back to the squad," he noted—a move that's perhaps flown under the radar in recent transfer discussions.

Romano outlined a three-pronged summer strategy: right-back recruitment, midfield reinforcements, and potentially an attacking addition. "Arsenal are going to be active in the summer transfer window," he confirmed, though he stressed that the club's immediate focus remains on their current title pursuits. "The work behind the scenes has started to prepare the summer window – right-back, midfielder and eventually something up front."
