This is quite a premature exercise, but it is interesting to project where 2019’s top prospects may land. This class features some incredible talent along the D-line, as well as a cluster of Quarterbacks. Here are our way-too-early First Round Projections. The Draft order was determined based on Super Bowl odds from Vegas Insider.
– Picks 1-8
– Picks 9-16
– Picks 17-24
– Picks 25-32

1. New York Jets: Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

The Jets now have their Franchise QB in Sam Darnold, and in this case they could take the best player in the entire 2019 class: Nick Bosa.
2. Miami Dolphins: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
Ryan Tannehill is an uncertainty, and if the Dolphins are picking this high in 2019 they should take a Quarterback. Herbert has all the tools to translate into a successful Franchise QB.
3. Cincinnati Bengals: Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
Like the Dolphins, if the Bengals are selecting at #3, they should take a Quarterback. Lock had awesome production in 2017, and if he takes the next step in 2018, Lock will likely be one of the first QBs selected.
4. Chicago Bears: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston
This would be a dream scenario for Chicago. The Bears are a few pieces away from being a serious playoff contender, and adding Oliver would be another step in the right direction.
5. Buffalo Bills: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

The Bills still need some help along the Offensive Line, and Jonah Williams would be a sound addition. The Alabama product would be a great blindside protector for new QB Josh Allen.
6. Washington Redskins: Lukas Denis, S, Boston College
The Redskins could use a playmaking Safety to play alongside DJ Swearinger, and Denis could provide just that. Denis is regarded as the #1 Safety prospect by Bleacher Reports’ Matt Miller, and I think Denis could have a breakout season and be a top-10 pick.
7. Arizona Cardinals: Greg Little, OT, Mississippi
After taking their apparent Franchise QB, the Cardinals now need a blindside protector. Greg Little is a mountain of a man, and he would be a great OT to help protect Josh Rosen.
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Ferrell is the best edge prospect behind Nick Bosa, and he would be a great addition for Tampa Bay. Ferrell has a great first-step and excels at getting after the Quarterback.
