The NFL Draft was full of surprises. There were many picks that were shocking, with some prospects going way earlier than expected, and others waiting way longer to be picked then they should have been.
There was a lot of very good selections from the NFL Draft, but some standout more than others. Here are the biggest steals from every round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Round 1: Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens (32nd overall)
Lamar Jackson is a game changing Quarterback. Jackson is known mainly due to his electrifying runs, but he is more than a runner. Jackson’s passing skills are a bit unpolished, but he deserves more credit than he currently recieves. Jackson can make almost every throw needed, and with time he will only get better. Jackson’s upside is incredible, and the fact that the Ravens got the former Heisman Winner at No. 32 overall was tremendous. Jackson may be viewed as a “boom-or-bust” prospect, but with his mobility and arm talent there is a real good chance Jackson can become a franchise QB. Landing Lamar Jackson with the last pick of the First Round was a steal for Baltimore.
Runner Up: Derwin James, S, Los Angeles Chargers (17th overall)
